Barrel | 50, 54, and 58 caliber
43.25” custom profiled barrels. Breech 1.125” and waist approximately .800”. 1/70 twist. A very nice contoured barrel. Comes standard in square bottom rifling. Smooth bore also available. The breech plug comes fit and installed. Dovetails are cut and the surface is finely milled as seen in photos (but will need to be draw filed to attain finished surface). Lock | Jim Kibler's CNC machined Round-Faced English Lock
This represents a nice quality round-faced English lock from the 1760’s. It’s not a copy of any particular lock, but rather fully designed to incorporate what we feel to be the best features of many reference pieces. The lock represents $200 of the $1075 kit price and is billed separately. Touch Hole Liner | White Lightning
It's drilled and tapped for the touch hole liner, and it comes with a White Lightning liner. These work well and provide for really fast ignition. They are available in stainless or carbon steel. If stainless steel touch hole liner is chosen, it will come with the touch hole liner installed while the carbon steel will be included in the parts bag. The stainless last longer but do not color or patina like carbon steel. Stainless is standard, but if you would like carbon, please make a note when you order. There is no price difference. |
